How To Flatten Gaming Mouse Pad

Rolling in the Opposite Direction

This is one way for flattening a mousepad. If your mouse pad is curled, always roll it the other direction before laying it down. They’re always flat after that, and for a few days after that. You must apply the opposing force to it. Putting anything on it will not flatten it.

Iron it with a cloth on top.

Simply apply a little amount of heat in the other direction. The majority of Mouse Pads are comprised of rubber and change orientation when heated. Use a gently heated pressing iron with a heavy-duty towel over the top and watch the results. If it’s made of rubber, it will soften with heat and take on the form as it cools.

Using tape, secure it to the desk.

To keep your mouse pad flat on your desk, use double-sided tape. This will help keep the mouse pad from sliding around.

Apply some force on it.

This will take some time, but it will function perfectly. Simply place some weight on the coiled mouse pad, folded edge down. Stack several books and leave them for a few days; they will flatten. Make certain that the weight is spread equally. If it doesn’t work, how about adding extra weight? For how long? While it’s under the weight, consider using a hair dryer to warm up the mouse pad so it’s more susceptible to shedding the bends.

Use a hair dryer

If you have a hair dryer, you may gently warm it up (NOT HOT) to help relax and flatten it out. The heat will undoubtedly aid in flattening it. Unfortunately, I’m not sure about the RGB components. However, I believe a hairdryer at a low temperature will suffice.

How to Care for Your Mousepad

You will have difficulty using your Mousepad if it is sticky. You can’t move your mouse smoothly, and so forth.

You should clean your mousepad three to four times a year. It’s also a good idea to avoid eating and drinking near your computer. Please use caution if you do so.

First and foremost, you will want shampoo or shower gel. You may use soap as well, although it’s better to avoid it. The following are the steps for cleaning a mouse pad:

  • Scrub your Mousepad gently with the shower gel or shampoo. You may use a brush, but take caution.
  • Remove the shampoo or gel from the Mousepad by rinsing it.
  • Soak up any excess water with a towel. And then let it dry under a ceiling fan.

You have now finished cleaning your Mousepad. Never use hot water while cleaning your Mousepad. If your mousepad is still uneven after cleaning, try the procedures described above to flatten it.

A mousepad is a surface for placing and moving a computer mouse. A mousepad enhances the usability of the mouse compared to using a mouse directly on a table by providing a surface to allow it to measure movement accurately and without jitter.”
